We strongly recommended that you book a hire car in advance of your visit as it can be difficult to book a car once on-Island due to the great demand from visitors and locals alike.

Any minor damages caused to the vehicle will have to be paid for by the client.

In order to drive on-Island, visitors must hold and bring with them a valid driving licence with no endorsements for dangerous driving in the last five years. If in possession of a current overseas licence, you can drive on St Helena on this licence up to three months. Thereafter, you will be required to apply for a St Helenian Licence. However, if you are 70 years old + you will be required to produce a medical certificate.

Car hire can be arranged by contacting us. Please tell us your preferred transmission type i.e. Manual or Automatic.
