Before leaving your home, you should arrange have travel, personal accident, medical and baggage insurance to cover your journey.

Your travel insurance should include coverage for both missed departure and delayed departure to ensure financial coverage in the event that the flight to or from St Helena is significantly delayed.

Your medical insurance should cover at least £500,000 worth of medical expenses including emergency medical evacuation. You will be asked to produce proof of medical insurance by the Immigration Officer if you intend to stay longer than 48 hours.
