Arriving by Yacht

Travelling by yacht is a fun, unique and relaxing way of getting around the world.

Our position in the Mid-South Atlantic Ocean (of the West African Coast and South American Coast) means we are in a prime location for stopovers, offering sailors a safe haven to rest, perform maintenance and restock supplies.

So now is your chance to visit our Enchanted Island – you are always welcome!

St Helena Island, which is thought to be one of the most unique destinations in the world, has a total area of 47 square miles.

Located  in the South Atlantic Ocean (15◦  56′ South and 5◦ 45′ West), she lies 1200 miles from the South-West coast of Africa and  1800 miles from the South American coast. The nearest landmass is Ascension Island which is situated 703 miles to the North.

Saint Helena has a lot to offer –  from built and natural attractions, to experiencing life in our Georgian town,

to witnessing breath taking views from the highest point of the island, diving in our beautiful clear waters,

then discovering our rocky coastline, and compare our green hills to the island’s non-active volcano in Sandy Bay.
